If Women’s Football is good, where are the supporters?

20m | Aug 6, 2020

This week, Host Harry answers the common rhetorical question in women’s football: if women’s football is actually good, why are there so little fans and sponsors? He looks at the nature of the women’s game, namely its technical element, as well as the willingness of players to speak up about social issues that they care about. He also dives into the business side of women’s football and ends with a set of statistics that support our view: women’s football is developing and improving at a faster rate than before.

We also look at the latest news this week: the Scottish Women’s Premier League declared null and void; stall in talks between Jill Ellis and England FA; England women not participating in the SheBelieves Cup next year.

Let us know what you think about it (and remember to share and leave a review!
