I want to talk about a book that I have recently read. The book is “Psychology’s Misuse of Statistics and Persistent Dismissal of its Critics” (2019), written by Professor Emeritus James T. Lamiell.

The main topic of this book is “statisticism”, a term coined by the author to describe an ascendant and continuing, yet unfortunate, practice in mainstream psychology.
