Mind·ful·ness by definition is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. Mindfulness is an incredible tool to help people understand, tolerate, and deal with their emotions in healthy ways. In practice, mindfulness offers many benefits such as relieving stress, improving sleep, and so much more. 


In this episode, I will provide you with 10 simple ways that you can add mindfulness to your busy routine. I encourage you to start small, start somewhere, and try at least one activity from the list I provide and let me know how it goes.

To study this she focuses on the areas of social-emotional learning, culturally responsive pedagogy, and special education.
