The Gambler’s Tale: “All That Glitters,” Part 2 of 10
July 2012. After keeping a low profile for months in Los Angeles, poker player Jimmy Harmon at last has the opportunity to gain a seat at an exclusive high-stakes underground game — but before he can join in, he must contend with the return of his former girlfriend Robin, desperate for his help after being unwittingly drawn into a mystery that may have led to murder… a mystery that may have her next on the killer’s list.
Rated AD-PG, so parental guidance is suggested
Contains semi-adult language (a few instances of “crap,” “damn” and variations thereof, and “hell,” JC’s name in vain, “piss,” and “screw” in a non-explicit context), the depiction of the unpleasant consequences of drinking (enough rum to blind a pirate), actual drinking (beer, in the absence of a Screaming Viking), irresponsible pistol use, references to murder, gambling (maybe not poker, depending on your definition, but horse racing and proposition betting definitely count), and a virtually indecipherable Cockney dialect.
