Hop Aboard the Crozet Trolley for a Day on Virginia’s Monticello Wine Trail
Episode 64:
What do you get when you combine Virginia wine country, beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain views, good food, and a trolley that does the driving? A pretty wonderful day!
In this episode, I’m taking you along on a tour of the Monticello Wine Trail aboard the Crozet Trolley just outside Charlottesville, Virginia. Jason and I joined family for a leisurely day that included stops at King Family Vineyards, Valley Road Vineyards, Hazy Mountain Vineyards & Brewery, and Pro Re Nata Brewery.
From sipping rosé with a view of the polo fields to enjoying Cabernet Franc by a fire, discovering an unexpected wine at Hazy Mountain, and ending the day with live music and a beer, every stop brought something a little different. Best of all, we could relax, enjoy the scenery, and leave the driving to someone else.
Whether you're a wine lover, planning a getaway with friends or family, or simply looking for a fun way to experience Virginia’s Blue Ridge, come along for the ride as we explore the Monticello Wine Trail.
And, of course, I’ll share a few Pull Over Pro Tips to help you plan your own visit!
