After taking time to consider their situation, the party decides to head downstairs and try freeing the reaper angel Ajireal to convince them to cleanse all of the souls of the cultists to prevent them from becoming demons. This will be no easy feat, with Ezmarith wandering loose, but it may be their only way out of the library.

The cadre has run into the roamers who supposedly stole the cannon. Thanks to some clever thinking from Eddie and Lirio, they are able to reach a parlay and learn that the duke is a liar.
