Resilient Robin
On the fourteenth episode of the P.O.T.N👑 Podcast, Takura was joined by Robin who is a very analytical, innovative, and adventurous individual. In his episode, he shares his story of how he moved from Zimbabwe to the UK at a very young age. He also shares his passion for technology, aerospace engineering, and love for his family. Robin also shares his experience of going abroad for an internship in Spain which is where he learned Spanish, picked up salsa dancing and integrated well into the community. This is what then inspired his future travels to North and South America. In his episode Robin shares his enjoyment towards learning new things, acquiring new skills and how balance is the key to effective personal development. He also shares a very good point that we should never compare ourselves and recalls a famous saying “Comparison is the thief of joy” which he hopes the listeners take on board as they go into new ventures. He encourages all the listeners to be proactive and brave when taking the time to learn new ventures and how it is very important for us to take that first step which gets the process started. He also shares how his parents and siblings have played a massive part in terms of inspiring him and how their bravery and sacrifice has ultimately paid off very well for all of them. Robin also shares his excitement for technology and how its progressing and how data is a key driver to that and how we can now answer questions we could not answer because of the ready availability of data. In addition to that he praises how technology has allowed all of us to stay connected and do numerous things which help in the current circumstances occurring in the world. Going forward Robin is eager to pick up Public speaking and networking as he feels these two skills will assist him in becoming competent and diligent leader. Finally, Robin also shares his tips and tricks on how to stay productive, motivated, & resilient in challenging times. An outstanding testimony that encompasses all the values of P.O.T.N👑
