On the twenty-first episode of the P.O.T.N👑. Podcast Takura was joined by Nelson aka The Bishop who is a resilient, focused, and confident individual. In his episode, he shares his passions for football, gaming, and being active & healthy. Nelson walks us through his journey of moving from Madeira to the UK at an early age, being from the same island as Cristiano Ronaldo, and his love for gaming. He shares the importance of staying healthy and having a strong mindset as this will help us as we approach the challenges of life. As a person he enjoys being the one who brings joy to others, being funny, and humorous. He loves the relationships he has with all his close friends and family and is proud to witness his growth and theirs as they continue to live their lives. He believes that the positive feelings we feel should be intrinsic and be generated internally not externally. He encourages all the listeners to pursue what makes them happy and stand strong about what they believe in. Nelson also talks us through his journey of becoming the man of the house at 16 years, working in customer service and later into insurance, then pursuing what he always wanted to do which was streaming. He tells us that being brave and knowing what we want is important. He adds on to say that we should do things that bring us happiness, not misery or sadness. Through his streams, he has been inspired by other streamers and his fans “The Bish Army”. He has also learnt the best way to progress is to be himself, acknowledge others, and engage with his audience which has brought him a lot of success. In an open message to the listeners, he shares with us all that we need to go through difficult times to learn more about ourselves and what we are capable of. Once we know who we are we can discover our purpose and start taking action. Nelson also advises us to be wary of negative people and distance ourselves from such people. He goes on to say It is important that we stay true to ourselves and not let any nonbelievers bring us down. From his experiences, he has learned that everyone is different, and it is impossible to please everyone so the most important things we can do is be ourselves, emit positive energy and attract those who have the same energy. Nelson believes it's important to set goals, stay healthy and invest in ourselves. He believes in life there are trials and tribulations, and it is up to all of us to be accountable and make changes to improve ourselves and circumstances. Nelson tells us more about the value and aim of his twitch platform, which is to be open, welcoming, exciting, and honest. He doesn’t want us or himself to live with any regrets so it's important we do our best to pursue what we want to. Going forward he is excited about becoming a better cook, learning how to edit audio and video files, and learn how to photoshop. Nelson shares a story of how he became a competent PC builder using YouTube and the knowledge his friends gave him. It was a great skill to gain as it enabled him to help close friends and family build their computers. In the present and future, Nelson wants to be someone people can come to for advice and help. He has always wanted to help others and touch peoples lives. In his closing remarks, Nelson encourages us to keep going, work on discovering ourselves, and stay away from negative people. He also encourages us all to find inspirations from ourselves and share that inspiration with others to inspire them. In addition to that, he wants all of us to be in positive environments, give back to the community, and always do right by others. An awesome testimony that encompasses all the values of P.O.T.N👑.
