Pansexuality and Black Representation in Movies with Juanamarina James-Velardo

Today's episode includes Juanamarina James-Velardo, who spoke on what it means to be pansexual in the LGBTQIA+ community. Juanamarina, a student at Chestnut Hill College, isn’t publicly open about her self-identification as a pansexual, is very proud and confident about herself. Thus, she shares facts, her experiences, and her opinions on acceptance. Furthermore, @juanamarina621 speaks on the lack of unique and authentic movies representing the black community. Although we are seeing more representation over the years, there is almost always a small role or stereotypical view or political view on the characters in comparison to shows.
