Office Hours traces the history of the university from its medieval origins in twelfth-century Bologna and Paris through the crises and transformations of the twenty-first century. Episodes run approximately 30 minutes (c.4,500 words) and aim for the informed general listener who enjoys history told with humor, narrative drive, and academic honesty. The series models its tone on The Rest is History and Hardcore History — rigorous but irreverent, scholarly but never stuffy.
