Should Robert Downey Jr's Dr Doom be a Tony Stark Variant in Avengers: Doomsday & Secret Wars?

Avengers: Doomsday & Avengers: Secret Wars has been announced to be directed by The Russo Brothers and starring the returning Robert Downey Jr. as Victor Von Doom.

Although it was announced that RDJ is playing Victor Von Doom, many believe that it is a misdirect to hide the fact that this iteration of Dr. Doom is a Tony Stark variant.
