The Business Side of Being an Influencer with Content Creator, Emma Cortes
Emma is a Seattle Content Creator. Her blog and Instagram Emma's Edition aims to inspire the modern woman to create, travel, and live life with style. As a fashion and lifestyle blogger, Emma share's everything from fashion trends to content creation tips. She loves sharing posing ideas, Instagrammable places, as well as her journey as a content creator.
Emma is also a co-host for the Content Creatives Podcast with her friend. Together they share how aspiring influencers and small businesses can discover, grow, and own their brand.
Emma was born in Los Angeles,CA, lived briefly in the Philippines as a child, and primarily grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington. Then received her master’s in communication in digital media also from the University of Washington.
Prior to taking her creative career full-time, Emma worked in the aerospace industry for 6 years and worked in the consumer packaged goods industry for a year after undergrad. We talk about that and the physical labor it took to set up gatorade stands. I’m not even kidding!
What you’ll notice about Emma is her sweet nature, but even more so her passion for spreading the facts when it comes to the influencer industry. We’ve been following one another since 2018 and let me tell you - she is worth the follow! I’ve learned so much from her!
