Yasemin Deniz shares her entrepreneurial journey: how she founded Mikash Skincare, a successful Melbourne-based skincare business, against all odds. Growing up in the Fitzroy flats, Yasemin dropped out of school at the age of 14 to work and eventually find her passion in the beauty industry.

Years on, after a failed marriage and the loss of her baby son, she married once more and became a stay-at-home mum. Her husband's work injury was the nudge that reignited her teenage dream to found her own beauty business. 

So Mikash Skincare was born. After testing and trialling for years, she created her own hand-made skincare line using only certified organic ingredients that are locally sourced. Yasemin's hustler mindset, her attitude of gratitude and her faith allowed her to thrive, even when times were tough.
