Usumain Baraka is a refugee living in Israel since he fled as a child from the genocide in Darfur. Baraka Co-Founded and led as CEO of the African Students Organization in Israel. Today Usumain holds a Master&#39;s Degree in Public Policy from the IDC Herzliya, is an activist for refugee rights and a representative of the asylum-seeking community in Israel. Listen over this episode to learn how his and his community&#39;s struggles led Baraka to create an NGO for higher education for the community.
