Patience of Noah
Now Lamech lived 182 years, and fathered a son. 29 And he named him Noah, saying, “This one will give us comfort from our work and from the hard labor of our hands caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.” 30Then Lamech lived 595 years after he fathered Noah, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died. 32Now after Noah was five hundred years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth. ~Gen 5: 28-32

We often view the story of Noah as a quaint children’s story about animals. However, the true story of Noah is about faith, patience, and the chance to repent.
Now Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of water [e]came upon the earth. 7Then Noah and his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives with him entered the ark because of the waters of the flood. Gen 7:6-7
Warrior’s Prayer
Lord, I come before you seeking the strength and skill to overcome my enemies. Grant me I pray, the wisdom to recognize evil, the courage to confront it, and the strength to destroy it. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
