Lean Not On Your Own Understanding
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
We fail and experience frustration when we lean on our own understanding. When men look to other men or, worse, themselves, they are setting up for failure. Lean on your creator, you heavenly Father first and always.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. Pro 3:7
And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you. [“But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”] Matt: 17:20-21
Lord, I come before you seeking the strength and skill to overcome my enemies. Grant me I pray, the wisdom to recognize evil, the courage to confront it, and the strength to destroy it. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
