So the first thing we must establish is what I (Alan) mean by worship. The definition I am using is adoring reverence or regard for NO reason other than they have wealth. We are not talking about the worship or reverence that one has for a deity. Yes, one word can have multiple meanings. I think the vast majority of us will know that money doesn't make you a deity so that isn't the version of worship we are using.

In the US most outlets define a mass shooting as any shooting with 3 or more injuries/fatalities. For that, the United States has had the most mass shootings of any country. In a 2016 study published by criminologist Adam Lankford, it was estimated that 31% of all public mass shooters from 1966 to 2012 attacked in the United States, although the U.S. had less than 5% of the world's population.

I was talking to a guy and he was saying the reason that he has firearms is to protect himself from a tyrannical government. After he left, I thought to myself, would you even recognize an oppressive, authoritarian, government and what level of tyranny are you willing to put up with before you use these weapons? Is there a definite line or, as long as it is done slowly enough, there is no line to notice? I have questions but no answers. What say you? Where do you draw the line between good government and tyranny? Does it matter who is in charge of the government? Would the leader be able to change your mind about tyranny? I ask this because as I live my life I find that most people are ok with tyranny as long as it is the kind they support. So ask yourself, am I ok with an authoritarian government as long as I voted for the people there.
