Alex Simanski is an entrepreneur, former small business owner, ultra-runner and all-around impressive human. Alex shared with us the lessons he learned while creating, running and growing his boxing gym. He also let us learn the easy way some of the lessons about running and competing in endurance races that he had to learn with sweat and blood. Thank you Alex!

Goodhue County Sheriff Marty Kelly stopped by and gave us the low down on what it's like to be the Sheriff, and his history in law enforcement. Marty shared the things he has seen change over the years and let us in on what changes are being made now to better help his deputies maintain longer careers. Thank you Marty!

Goodhue County Emergency Management Director Josh Hanson stopped by to share some insight into his role of keeping us all safe from potential emergencies we might face in our county. Red Wing Environmental Learning Center executive director Jason Jech stopped by to fill us in on the ELC. From the different types of trips and activities to the many benefits young people get from being out in nature and doing things that are hard.

Darick is a friend and co-worker. He is a young leader with a lot of potential. He stopped by and graced us with his story of recovery and how that path has affected the way he sees the world and his relationships.

Local farmer, firefighter and friend Blake Peine dropped by to give us an update on how things are going. We discuss some benefits of farming in the information age as well as some of the challenges he faces this season. We also got to chat about the Miesville volunteer fire department he is a part of and how a department like that operates.
