Today's guest is Michael Hryniuk, a spiritual director who has served as a consultant to churches, schools, religious communities, and denominational bodies. Michael's work in pastoral psychology has included professional speaking, retreat and workshop facilitation, community leadership, non-profit administration, ministry development, and spiritual formation. In this episode, we will learn about his journey towards spiritual transformation and the importance of realizing our own beauty, self-worth, and enoughness.

Summary:
	•	Michael talks about his spiritual journey, which began when he started reading the Bible at the age of 15 or 16. He was welcomed to live in a house of formation for Redemptorist priests, and Father Russ, who was the most important person in his life, taught him the meaning of prayer, liturgy, and worship.
	•	Michael loves to start his day with silent prayer and deep spiritual reading to dispose himself before resting in peace and joy. He believes that the core issue in anyone's life is whether they have come to know their own beauty, self-worth, and enoughness.
	•	Michael emphasizes the importance of human connection in his work as a psychologist, a psychotherapist, and a spiritual care practitioner. He wants his clients to experience a sense of connection to a human being and to know that at least one person cares and sees them in their beauty and belovedness.
	•	Michael learned a lot about love while working with people with disabilities in L'Arche. The therapy of L'Arche is to awaken the sense of their beauty and to reveal the beauty of another person to them.
	•	Michael believes that the Church needs to start with our blessedness, that we were created in the image and likeness of God as a beautiful gift and a blessing to creation. There is something in us that resists love and believes that we are not worthy of it, but God says, "You are my beloved daughter or son in whom I take delight".
	•	Michael says that Jesus was the first one to believe that God is love, and this began a revolution in human consciousness.

Michael's journey towards spiritual transformation has taught him the importance of realizing our own beauty, self-worth, and enoughness, and of human connection in our lives. His work as a psychologist, psychotherapist, and spiritual care practitioner centers on helping others to discover their own belovedness and beauty.

Jared’s life, like many of the Indigenous children at the time, was greatly affected by the residential schools, though he never attended one himself. In this episode, Jared gives us a little glimpse of his childhood, growing up in the reserve at Cross Lake, Manitoba, the challenges he faced when he decided to move out to study at Eston College and how he eventually found healing and total freedom in Jesus.His journey of forgiveness and healing is both powerful and challenging. Jared is passionate about the church and envisions a day that the youth of the First Nations will experience revival and healing. In one of her travels to Ukraine a few years ago, she fell in love with the people of Ukraine and their language, creating long-lasting and beautiful friendships with her country’s perceived enemies. In today’s episode, Randall Bear Barnetson, Indigenous artist and a follower of the Jesus way, joins Wendi Park in the unceded traditional territory of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations, to share a little bit about his latest book release ‘The NativIty Art Project’. In this book, Bear has decolonized the Story of Jesus’ birth helping us to see Christ through an Indigenous worldview. She has been involved in ministry for many years and has a heart for reconciliation.Have you been told that the only way to get Reconciliation, healing, and restoration is to &#34;just get over it&#34;?
