Our intent is to sensitize our audience to the plight of women who were incarcerated and shift the stereotypical narrative. In doing so, develop an understanding around the circumstances leading to their imprisonment. These women are mothers, daughters, grandmothers, professional, blue collar, some found themselves homeless. Too often they’re stigmatized, ostracized and penalized long after they have served their time.
