• Butterfly & Gate Valve Operation Overview

Today we've an interesting relation between the two of the resembling featured valves. The butterfly valve and the Gate Valve have almost the same operation which is to control the flow of the fluid in the process but with slight variation in both of them. The variation is that the gate valve is used for more precise control as there is only single opening while the gate moves from down (closed position) to up ( open position, while the butterfly valve have two opening on each side of it making the flow much turbulent and less precise.

Mr Hamid Khan our senior consultant from Techno Control Corporation will share his experience and views about both the operation and working of each valve.
