Trump also asked the Supreme Court to overturn the $83.3 million defamation judgment against him for defaming writer E. Jean Carroll. Because apparently the only thing he hates more than accountability is math.

Then James Comey stepped up and asked a federal judge to dismiss the Justice Department’s “Seashells” case, calling it vindictive and selective prosecution driven by Trump. We unpack the legal mess, the political mess, and the mess-mess.

And speaking of mess, 73% of Americans say Trump isn’t paying enough attention to the country’s most important problems. We’re not saying the number is shocking, but we are saying it’s giving “the call is coming from inside the house.”

Meanwhile, the House passed a temporary funding bill to avoid a shutdown, which is Congress’s version of hitting the snooze button on a national crisis. And then House Republicans turned around and passed a $1.15 trillion defense policy bill like they were ordering off the Cheesecake Factory menu.

Trump threatened to “bomb or destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT” for every ship Iran attacked in the Strait of Hormuz — because nothing says ‘measured foreign policy’ like spinning a giant wheel of American infrastructure and blowing up whatever it lands on.

Then he threatened a 100% tariff on imported generic drugs unless manufacturers build plants in the U.S. Because nothing says “healthcare strategy” like making antibiotics cost the same as a used Honda.

Also — measles is back. 2,295 cases so far in 2026. It's almost like putting the worst Kennedy in charge of our health was a bad idea.

And 37% of AGA voters say the Iran war is worth the economic cost, which is a bold stance for people who definitely complained about the price of eggs.
