Reading and responding to the book by Douglas Wood, "Old Turtle"

At the time of this recording, Lent is drawing near. This has gotten me thinking about the death of Jesus and what it must have been like to be Jesus’ friend.

So, I’ve selected some passages from Mathew and written down my response with this theme in mind.

I speak to Father Mac Brown, Priest at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Lookout Mountain Tennessee (official title is Assistant to the Rector). We get philosophical about nature, discussing how it changes us and even completely altering our definition of "The Wild."
