Best of edition: America's Heartland Packing; Greenfield Robotics - The FARM Show 2/28/26 B block
On tomorrow’s (2/28/26) edition of The FARM Show, it’s our first ever “best of” episode featuring favorite interviews from the first seven months!
In B block: In July 2025, the maiden voyage of The FARM Show kicked off with a visit from Missouri Department of Agriculture Director Chris Chinn. Director Chinn walked listeners through the details of the new America’s Heartland Packing beef processing facility in Warren County – from recruiting the American Foods Group company to Missouri, to visiting company headquarters in Green Bay for due diligence, to the early positive effects the company is already having on the local and statewide economies. Also in B block: Last August, we caught up with Greenfield Robotics Head of Business Development Jared Brown. Brown explained the company’s origins, how its robots work in row crops, and why chemical-free weed management isn’t as expensive as some growers may assume. Brown also addressed the 800-pound spray rig in the room: do agrochem companies see the anti-chemical writing on the wall?
