• The invention of the World Wide Web and Linux as we enter a new age of computer technology.
• The debut of Nicktoons featuring "Doug," "Rugrats," and "Ren & Stimpy."
• Cactus Jack and Abdullah the Butcher return to WCW to torment Sting.
• Nintendo releases the Super Nintendo Entertainment System to the masses in North America as the video game world changes forever.
• Sting wins the U.S. Heavyweight Title tournament at the Omni in Atlanta.
• "Doc Hollywood," "Double Impact," "The Commitments," "Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man," and "Showdown in Little Tokyo" all hit the theaters.
• PM Dawn, Metallica, Cypress Hill, Brooks & Dunn, Mr. Bungle, Spin Doctors, Pearl Jam, Blur, Toad the Wet Sprocket all have major albums hit record stores.
• Whether or not The Hunchbacks were really going to be a thing in WCW.
