These are the thoughts and intentions that drove Dr. Sam Bell to choose his family other than working as a physical therapist with professional athletes at Houston Astros. It was a tough decision but he has to do everything for his family.
In this part 1 of En Route to Success interview, Fitz DeSanto and Sam Boyer unpack stories with Sam Bell on what life is like being up close with professional athletes. How Sam Bell helps these players get ready to perform at their best.
Sam is a licensed physical therapist and athletic trainer who worked with professional athletes in a different realms of sports. He spent his time with Pittsburgh Pirates, Miami Dolphins, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Over the last 8 years or so, he was with Baltimore Ravens for 6 years as a physical therapist and athletic trainer which included their 2012-2013 Superbowl Championship. Dr.Bell joined the medical staff of Houston Astros and served a dual role of an athletic trainer and team physical therapist for the athletes. So excited to have him over to this podcast to share some light with our listeners and to see sports from a different angle.
