🌲 TODAY'S MYSTERY — THE OLD BOATMAN
Emma, Alex, and Sam are still searching for their missing friend, Ben.
After a dangerous storm and a terrifying night at Green Lake Ranger Station, the friends decide to follow the upper forest trail toward South Dock.
Before leaving, Emma makes sure Buddy, the rescued dog, has food, water, and a safe place to stay.
At the lake, they meet George, an elderly boatman who agrees to take them across the water to a mysterious island.
But something unexpected happens.
George recognizes Sam from a visit many years ago. Why did Sam never tell his friends he had been here before?
And Sam isn't the only one hiding something.
Alex has an old letter connected to Green Lake, but he refuses to explain what it means.
As the friends cross the foggy lake, they notice a strange flash on the distant shore. Their boat's engine begins to fail just before they reach the island.
Eventually, they discover an abandoned radio tower, old communication equipment, and signs that someone has been maintaining the system.
Then a mysterious voice calls for help.
Alex rushes forward, but the rotten wooden floor breaks beneath him. He falls into a dark underground passage and becomes trapped.
Emma and Sam hear strange knocking sounds coming from below.
But not every signal seems to come from Alex...
