Hide and Seek

Tonight, let’s play hide and seek…with a monster.

Our protagonist is a young boy spending the summer with his grandparents on an old farm in Virginia. One afternoon he is playing by himself in the attic—where all things creepy happen, I might add—when a storm rolls in. When he wakes up, he realizes he has begun playing a terrible game without realizing it—and something has come looking for him.
