Best Prog Rock Songs and Bands PT1

Scott and Burke Davis recorded a two-part episode of the Davis and Davis Show centered on a comprehensive exploration of progressive rock music, covering its origins, defining characteristics, and their personal favorite songs and albums. The show also included their standard recurring segments — speed tests, war updates, celebrity deaths, motivational speeches, and sports updates — alongside personal catch-up covering Scott's city code violations, Burke's trip to Put-in-Bay for a racing event, and an update on the Mama Sveti's recovery from a car accident. The prog rock discussion proved genuinely educational for both hosts, with Scott discovering Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon for the first time and Burke recognizing that songs he had loved for decades qualified as prog rock without his realizing it.
