Monday Qualifying into the Waste Management Open - Cory Renfrew | The Draw Fade Podcast

In Episode 3 of The Draw Fade Podcast, host Kip Barlow sits down with Canadian golf professional Cory Renfrew — a Vancouver-based coach and former Canadian Tour winner — to break down his unique path in professional golf.

Cory shares his journey into the game, his decision not to pursue a Division I route in the States, his success on the Canadian Tour, and how those experiences shaped his teaching philosophy today as a full-time teaching professional working with the UBC golf team.

The conversation also revisits his unforgettable run at the 2015 Waste Management Phoenix Open, where he Monday qualified into the field, played alongside PGA Tour stars Justin Thomas and Tony Finau, and made the cut on one of golf’s biggest stages — making this a timely listen with the Phoenix Open happening this week.
