Exit 16 to reopen at 8 a.m. Friday; Humane Society announces 'Weinerpalooza' (9-4-26)

I-24, Exit 16 will reopen after an approximately two-and-a-half-month construction period. More than a year after dog breeder Suzanne Alt was convicted of 105 counts of inhumane treatment of animals, an amended sentence this month will finally allow for the 130 dachshunds to be adopted.
