2h 2m | Aug 28, 2022

In this extended episode of Curiously Catholic, Dom talks with Helen Armstrong about her transformative experience on the Camino de Santiago, complete with a Q+A from you, the listeners!

---

“When we allow him to break open our hearts, that's when true healing begins.”

---

Helen shares how the Camino provided her with the space to let go and strive to be more of who God is calling her to be. She shares her experiences with how many of us relate to "demanding" or instructing God on how we want our lives to look.

From solitude to socialisation; From joys to suffering; Helen describes many of the lessons learned from this life-changing pilgrimage.

The Camino de Santiago, also known as the Way of St. James, is a large network of ancient pilgrim routes stretching across Europe and coming together at the tomb of St. James. One of the most popular routes -  The Camino Frances or French Way -  spans just over 800km and takes approx 4-5 weeks to complete.

 ---

"Sometimes the only way the good Lord can get into some hearts is to break them.”

- Fulton J. Sheen
