Lanterns Episode 8 | Dirt and Starts... And Disappointment?

The Lanterns season finale is here, but did “Dirt and Stars” stick the landing or leave us stranded on a very disappointing planet? We break down the reveal of who killed Hal Jordan, Noah’s plan with Sinestro, John Stewart’s questionable transformation into Earth’s new “Green” Lantern, and the lingering possibility of a Yellow Lantern or Parallax storyline. Plus, we tackle the finale’s rushed family resolutions, missing payoffs, the missing Guy Gardner "One Punch", and whether the Manhunters were ever a real threat, all while asking whether Lanterns is a “Surf Dracula” that spent an entire season building toward a climax that never quite arrived. And, of course, we ask the most important question: just how whelmed are we?
