Lanterns Episode 7 | “Great Arm, Kid”

Hal Jordan gets the spotlight in Episode 7 of Lanterns, “The Jordan Boys’ Legacy,” as we finally dive into his childhood, his dad, and the generational trauma he’s been “clinging” to. We break down what’s in the safe, why we don’t buy that Hal’s death is what it looks like, John’s trip to a fear-soaked yellow planet, and the theory that John is headed toward becoming a Yellow Lantern. Plus, we talk about the new Maggie-the-waitress Manhunter theory, Ch’p and Mogo’s “attendance” at Hal’s funeral, another OutKast song, and John and Hal’s “they’re playing our song” moment. And, of course, we ask the most important question: just how whelmed are we?
