Episode 22: Casey Scherpereel U of H Track Scholarship

In this episode of ChatKTX, we sit down with Taylor High School standout Casey Scherpereel to celebrate one of the most impressive senior years in recent Katy ISD history.

Casey earned a scholarship to the University of Houston, where she’ll compete in both track and cross country. Along the way, she broke school records, collected numerous honors in track, and also made a huge impact on the basketball court.

We talk about the hard work, discipline, setbacks, and dedication that helped her reach the next level, while shining a light on a remarkable student-athlete and an even better person.
