The Annunciation of the birth of Jesus Christ. We take time to dive deep into this moment recorded for us in the Gospel of Luke.

We begin our study with a shameful difficult moment in Abraham and Sarah's life but end with the promised son finally being born! And through it all we see that God is faithful.

Luke starts with an incredible dedication and explanation of the Gospel writers methods. Then we begin to read the story of Zacharias, Elizabeth, and their miracle baby, John.

One of the toughest chapters in Genesis so far. Tough for many reasons, how it affects Abraham, Lot's tragic story, and in its application to our personal lives and culture today.

The Gospel according to Luke is such an amazing book of the bible. We look at some highlights of the Gospel of Luke and then spend time getting to know Luke the person, one of only four gospel writers.

We get a peek into Abraham's friendship with God and learn about intercessory prayer.

John the baptizer, speaking of Jesus said: He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Jesus speaking of the Holy Spirit that would come after Him said that it would be like rivers of Living Water springing up out of those that would receive Him. We look at who the Holy Spirit is and what it means to be baptized by Him.

God appears to Abram again and changes his name to Abraham. This is also when Sarai's name is changed to Sarah. They also get the name for this promised child revealed to them, Isaac. Although they are so close to seeing this promise come to pass they still have more to learn and grow.

This Sunday was Calvary Chapel Liberty's first ever baptism. We took time to look at the what, when, who, why, and where of Baptism from the scriptures. We look at the Baptisms of Jesus, Paul, and Cornelius.

We see Abram and Sarai take a detour on the road of faith. They begin to trust in their own ideas and plans. We see that Hagar meets The LORD and tells her to name this son in her womb Ishmael.

In today's message we come to the end of the Gospel of Mark. What an amazing journey it has been. We read about the resurrection account of Jesus Christ and the work that He left for His followers to do.

We look at an incredible moment in the life of Abram when God makes a one sided and unconditional covenant with him.

We read through Mark's account of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The details provided in the scriptures give us a glimpse into our Saviors passion and suffering.

Abraham passes his next test of faith! We see the incredible work God is doing in Abrahams life, and by contrast the foolish choices Lot is making. Towards the end of the chapter we meet the King of Salem, Melchizedek.

Before Jesus is led to the cross he is interrogated and condemned by Pontius Pilate. We learn more about what Jesus went through and what he did for us.

We look at a moment in Abraham and Sarahs life where one of them ran to the world for help, while the other trusted in the Lord with all their heart. Towards the end we see Lot beginning to backslide again.

As we finish Mark chapter 14 we find such a sad scene. After so many wonderful moments with Jesus and declarations of devotion, by the end of the chapter Peter will have denied Jesus three times with oaths and cursing. But thank God, that is not the end of his story!

In today's study we take Tim to get to know Abram (who would become Abraham) and his family. Where he came from, who he was with, where God called him to, and how it might apply to us. We also get into some incredible biblical archeology as well!

In the next section of Mark 14 we see the beginning of Jesus court trials that would end in Him being condemned to death.

In today's study we look at what is called Then Table of Nations and the Tower of Babel. We see the line that is drawn in the scriptures from Nimrod in chapter 10 to the fall of Babylon in Revelation 18.
