Right at ground zero for four reported disappearances, a lonesome paranormal investigator prepares themselves to head out into Ridens Wood on the hunt for just what happened in the clutches of night...

With only a small case file, their issued cassette recorder, and a single recording of a missing person's last words, the Investigator is determined to solve Burning Veil Society's case no. 00346. Unseen to them, however, something is twisting its way in the trees... and it gets closer every minute.
