Fortnite Donates $193 Million AUD to Humanitarian Efforts in Ukraine.

Epic Games and Microsoft follow through with their pledge to donate all proceeds from Fortnite to the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, and the amount raised has blown all expectations out of the water. 

Fans were initially confused as to why the lead up to Fortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 2 seemed awfully quiet, and now we understand why. Epic Games had planned out the main thematic of Season 2 well in advance; a massive scale war – complete with tanks, and blimps in which a large-scale invasion takes place. This could not be more awkwardly timed, taking place alongside the literal invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
