012 - The 8 Billion Dollar Woman - Jade Mills - Beverly Hills Real Estate Agent

LILI BOSSE was originally elected to the Beverly Hills City Council in 2011. She previously served as Mayor in 2014, 2017 and 2022. Councilmember Bosse has focused on public safety, mental wellness, support of local businesses, and communication with the community. During her 2022-2023 term, she launched BHPD alert which provided more timely information to the Beverly Hills community; a Real Time Watch Center to monitor the City&#39;s surveillance network; Live 911 which allows police officers in the field to hear calls immediately without waiting for information from dispatch; and the 30X30 initiative with a goal of 30% sworn women personnel by the year 2030. During her last term, her &#39;Business with Bosse&#39; initiative highlighted businesses across Beverly Hills by inviting community members to meet at various locations throughout the city. She also hosted public events focused on wellness with Deepak Chopra and Edith Eger and live town-hall style meetings known as LIVE WITH LILI to hear directly from the community on their suggestions and ideas. In October 2022, Councilmember Bosse led the Beverly Hills City Council in the adoption of a resolution calling on President Biden, Secretary of State Blinken and Members of Congress to Increase Sanctions Against the Iranian Regime and for the United Nations to expel Iran from its Women’s Rights Commission. The action follows the physical beating and deaths of Mahsa Amini, Sarina Esmaeilzadeh, Nika Shakarami, and others by Iran&#39;s morality police. Councilmember Bosse has served the community for over 25 years as chair and member of many commissions, committees, foundations and boards, among them the Planning Commission, Traffic and Parking Commission, Arts and Culture Commission, Beverly Hills Education Foundation,  Wilshire Boulevard Temple, Jewish Federation, Aviva Family and Child Services, Hebrew Union College, Synagogue 2000, Wexner Leadership Program, and Visionary Women&#39;s Organization. SHARONA NAZARIAN, PsyD was elected to the Beverly Hills City Council in June 2022. An accomplished community leader, philanthropic advocate, and a proud immigrant, she has dedicated her career to public service and has a deep commitment to giving back to the community that she loves and has given her so many opportunities. English is her third language, and she is the first Iranian American female to serve on the Beverly Hills City Council. During her previous tenure as a Beverly Hills Public Works Commissioner, she spearheaded the Disposable Foodware Accessories Ordinance which was approved into law in 2021. Sharona supported RethinkBHTap, which promotes the city’s high quality drinking water and helps reduce the use of plastic bottles and served on the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Community Task Force. She also served as past Chair of the Beverly Hills Human Relations Commission, where she helped create the City’s ‘Civility Statement’ which is still used today and also developed the Cultural Round Table. Sharona holds a Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from USC. She is currently the Director of Audemars Piguet on Rodeo Drive and was formerly the Director of Client Engagement for Valentino, West Coast.
