Former Gander Mayor Claude Elliott 9/11 Interview

Friday Sept 11, 2001 marked 25 years since NL took in thousands of stranded airline passengers after North American airspace was shut down in the wake of the terrorist attacks on the United States. Most of the passengers in this province were diverted to Gander. Dean Clarke was a broadcaster in Gander at the time. He spoke by phone with Lenny Benoit and talked about his experiences that day.
