Strange Tales Part 5 — In the final message of our Strange Tales series, Pastor Joshua Gay shares from 1 Samuel 28:3–25 and the troubling story of King Saul seeking guidance from a medium. When fear, uncertainty, and desperation begin to take over, it can be tempting to listen to voices that tell us what we want to hear rather than what God has already spoken. But not every voice deserves our attention, and the voices we choose to follow will ultimately influence the direction of our lives. Through Saul’s story, we discover the danger of allowing fear to guide our decisions instead of trusting God's Word. Even when the future seems uncertain and answers are hard to find, we must remain grounded in His truth. Don't let fear choose your voice. Let God's Word lead the way.

Strange Tales Part 4 — In this message, Pastor Joshua Gay shares from Daniel 5:1–12 and the mysterious story of the handwriting on the wall. Through Daniel’s life, we discover how consecration positions us for elevation and favor. In a world that constantly pressures us to compromise, it can be tempting to blend in, take shortcuts, or pursue success on our own terms. But Daniel reminds us that what we do in private prepares us for what God wants to do through us in public. When we choose to live set apart, remain faithful, and honor God in every season, we position ourselves for opportunities only He can provide. Consecration leads to elevation, and faithfulness makes room for God's favor.

Strange Tales Part 3 — In this episode of After The Amen, Garrett Morlan and Keith Webb revisit Pastor Joshua Gay’s message from 1 Samuel 5:1–6 and the strange story of Dagon. What looked like a defeat was never a defeat for God! They talk about how easy it is to let a hard season, setback, unanswered prayer, or uncertain future make us feel like God has lost control. But this story reminds us that our circumstances do not determine God’s authority. We do not have to panic, force an outcome, or let fear make our decisions. No matter what it looks like in the moment, God has not lost.
