• 2090 - Day of Atonement

    Darryl Henson - October 20, 2026 -

Pride, vanity, and selfishness create divisions in our human relationships and, more importantly, between us and God. The Day of Atonement points to the work of reconciliation—removing those barriers and learning to live in harmony with our Creator. This requires us to examine more than what we have done wrong; we must also consider what needs to change within us. As Paul wrote, we must die daily to our old nature and grow in the character of God. It is a lifelong process of overcoming, learning to serve others, and preparing for the incredible future God has promised.

  • 2089 - From the Tabernacle to the Bride of Christ: Linen

    Darryl Henson - October 17, 2026 -

Throughout Scripture, God gives detailed instructions about garments used in worship and service. One material stands out above the rest: fine linen. Its significance reaches from the tabernacle and the priesthood all the way to Revelation, where the bride of Christ is clothed in fine, white linen, representing the righteousness of the saints. Recognizing God's wisdom in the creation of this beneficial material and His preference for it invites us to reconsider our own modern wardrobes.

    Speaker: Darryl Henson - October 11, 1026

Are we paying attention to what Jesus told His disciples about the end times? In Matthew 24, He gave warnings about deception, world events, persecution, and the importance of enduring in faith. Connecting these teachings with the book of Daniel brings us back to the central message of the Feast of Trumpets: to watch, remain faithful, and prepare for the return of Christ and the resurrection of the firstfruits.

    Darryl Henson - October 10, 2026

Is There a Contradiction in Prophecy?

Some Bible passages seem to contradict one another until we understand their context and timing. Matthew 24 warns us not to believe claims that Christ is here or there, while Zechariah describes Him dwelling with His people. How do these prophecies fit together, and what can they teach us about the end times?

    Darryl Henson - September 26, 2026

As we look at the prophecies concerning the end time, one theme becomes especially important: preparation. God calls us to examine our lives, repent, overcome, and bring forth Christ in the way we live. The examples of Elijah, John the Baptist, and others help us understand what that preparation can look like and how we can be ready to follow wherever God leads.

  • 2083 - The Jubilee: Blessings and Curses

Darryl Henson - September 12, 2026 - When Jesus read Isaiah 61 in His hometown synagogue, He announced wonderful news—healing, liberty, restoration, and the acceptable year of the Lord. But then He closed the book and stopped reading. Why did He leave out what came next? Looking at Luke 4, Isaiah 61, and the Jubilee laws in Leviticus, this message examines the important distinction between God's blessings and His judgments.

  • 2082 - Healing: Sin and the Serpent

Darryl Henson - September 5, 2026 - Sometimes a passage of Scripture seems strange until we look at it alongside the rest of the Bible. Numbers 21 is one of those passages. Israel complained against God, fiery serpents came among the people, and God instructed Moses to put a bronze serpent on a pole so that those who looked upon it would live. Why would God use a serpent as the means of healing?

The answer becomes clearer as we follow the symbolism through Isaiah, Ezekiel, Revelation, and especially John 3, where Christ Himself connects the serpent lifted up in the wilderness with His own death. What begins as a story of judgment and physical healing becomes a powerful picture of sin, Satan, Christ, and the way to eternal life. It also gives us a sobering reminder to examine our own attitudes and never forget the benefits God has given us.

  • 2079 - NMBS What Are We Hungry For?

Darryl Henson - August 12, 2026 - New Moon Bible Study - What Are We Hungry For?

We live in a world where it is becoming increasingly difficult to know what is real and what is not. We can see something, hear something, and believe something is genuine, only to discover that we've been deceived. Technology is making that problem even more difficult. The question is not simply, “What is true?” but “How do we know what is true, and what can we really trust?”

God's Word gives us an answer, but it also gives us something we need even more—a way of thinking that helps us recognize truth and reject deception. Jesus said, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Hunger and thirst are not casual desires. When you're truly hungry or thirsty, you know it. It gets your attention. You want to satisfy that need.

So Jesus is describing something much deeper than simply wanting to be a good person. He is talking about a genuine desire for God's way of thinking, God's character, and God's righteousness. Do we hunger and thirst for righteousness that way? Is becoming more like God something we genuinely desire, or is it simply something we know we're supposed to do?

Tonight, we'll look at what it means to hunger and thirst after righteousness, why righteousness is so important to God, and how His Word is intended to transform the way we think and live.

  • 2078 - I John 4-5 - Keeping God First

Darryl Henson - August 8, 2026 - As we come to the final sermon in our journey through 1 John, it is worth stepping back and asking what John has been trying to impress upon us from the beginning. His message has been remarkably simple, but that doesn't mean it is easy. He has continued to bring us back to the basics—knowing God, walking as Christ walked, keeping God's commandments, loving one another, overcoming the world, and remaining faithful to the end. These are not separate subjects. They are all connected, and together they describe what it means to truly belong to God.

John has also given us something we desperately need: confidence and hope. We are living in a world that pulls us in the opposite direction, and overcoming our own nature and the influence around us is a constant battle. Yet John reminds us that God has a plan, that Christ's sacrifice makes forgiveness possible, and that God's Spirit gives us the help we need to continue growing. We don't have to be perfect today, but we do have to keep moving in the right direction.

And so, as we close out I John, John's final words bring us right back to where everything begins: keep God first. Whatever competes with God for our loyalty, our attention, or our love can become an idol. After everything John has taught us about love, obedience, faith, overcoming, and eternal life, that is a fitting place to end. The question is not simply whether we know these things, but whether we are living them—and whether our lives are preparing us for the future God has promised.

  • 2077 - I John 3-4 - The Marks of Genuine Faith

Darryl Henson - August 1, 2026 - Following Christ has never been the easy path. The closer we walk with Him, the more we discover that His values stand in sharp contrast to the world around us. The apostle John acknowledges that reality, but he also shows us what genuine Christianity looks like. It isn't just about claiming to know Christ—it is revealed by loving the brethren, obeying God's commandments, growing in confidence before Him, and carefully testing every teaching against the truth of Scripture. Today we'll see how these marks of genuine faith help us remain faithful to Christ in a world filled with competing voices and conflicting ideas.

  • 2076 - I John 3 - Called to be God's Children

Darryl Henson - July 25, 2026 - Few truths are more remarkable than this: the Creator of the universe has called us to be His children. That's where John begins chapter 3—with amazement at the Father's love. But this calling is far more than a title or a future promise. God is preparing a people who are being transformed today—learning to overcome sin, to grow in righteousness, and to reflect His character more and more. As we continue through 1 John 3, we'll see that God's incredible love not only gives us hope for what we will become, but also shapes how we should live right now.

  • 2075 - I John 2 - How Do You Know You Know God?

Darryl Henson - July 18, 3036 - What does it really mean to know God? Many people confidently say they do, but the apostle John asks a much more searching question: How do you know that you truly know Him? His answer leaves little room for confusion. Those who truly know God will strive to keep His commandments and follow Christ's example.

In this message, we examine these clear but challenging words, along with practical lessons about repentance, humility, loving others, and resisting the pull of the world. It is a timely reminder to examine ourselves honestly and consider whether our lives truly reflect the faith we profess.

  • 2073 - Pentecost: A Day of Restoration and Hope

Darryl Henson - June 21, 2026 - The sermon explores the meaning of Pentecost as a key part of God's plan of salvation and restoration. Beginning with Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread, Darryl explains how God's Holy Days reveal a step-by-step process of deliverance from sin and growth toward eternal life. Pentecost is presented as a day of freedom, restoration, and spiritual power, closely connected to the Jubilee year. Through the giving of the Holy Spirit, we receive the help we need to overcome sin, obey God, and prepare for a future role as the firstfruits in God's Kingdom. The message walks through Acts 1 and 2, highlighting the disciples' faithful waiting, the dramatic outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and Peter's powerful sermon that led thousands to repentance and baptism.

Pentecost points not only to what happened in the first century but also to a greater restoration still ahead. Drawing from prophecies throughout the Bible, we are shown that God will again work through His Spirit to restore a faithful remnant and prepare the way for Christ's return. Throughout the message, we are reminded that true obedience to God is rare and that human nature naturally resists His ways. Because of this, the Holy Spirit is essential for spiritual growth and transformation. The sermon concludes with a reminder to be thankful for God's calling, remain faithful to His truth, and look forward with hope to the complete restoration that God has promised.
