The BIGPLAY Cleveland Show 10/22/26

The Guardians’ season is over—but should Cleveland be celebrating the progress or demanding more?

Bruce Drennan and Matt Fontana debate what this postseason revealed about the Guardians. Bruce sees a bright future built around Cleveland’s young talent, while Ryan challenges whether optimism should excuse another October ending short of the World Series. How much blame belongs to Stephen Vogt? Did ownership give this team enough support? And what must change to turn a promising core into a championship team?

Then, the Browns are atop the AFC North after beating Baltimore—but how much confidence should fans have in the offense? We preview Sunday’s matchup with the Titans and discuss what Deshaun Watson and Todd Monken need to show beyond another win.

Plus, the Cavaliers open their season tonight in Philadelphia. Is this championship-or-bust, and who determines Cleveland’s ceiling? We also recap the NFL’s biggest results, make this week’s picks with Bruce and look back at the college football weekend while previewing the games ahead.
