Onion Riots in Alger, Ohio

Hog Creek hasn't seen this much attention since it was first dug out! Where did one of the biggest labor strikes happen in our country's history? Right here in our backyard. Our ancestors worked some of the most fertile land in the world picking onions and they were doing in for slave wages. They fought back, even blowing up the mayor's house! You've gotta fight for your right to pick onions! Well, at least get paid appropriately to pick them.
