Abandoned Cat

Once upon a time, there was a cat named Mittens who lived with her owner, a young woman named Sarah. Mittens was a very happy cat, and she loved to play with Sarah and her friends. One day, Sarah's family had to move away, and they couldn't take Mittens with them. Mittens was heartbroken, and she didn't know what to do.

Sarah's family left Mittens outside their new house. Mittens was scared and alone, and she didn't know what to do. She wandered around the neighborhood, looking for Sarah, but she couldn't find her. Mittens was starting to lose hope.

One day, Mittens was walking down the street when she saw a little girl playing in her yard. The little girl saw Mittens and smiled. "Hello, kitty," she said. "What's your name?"

Mittens meowed.

"Your name is Mittens?" the little girl asked. "That's a pretty name. Do you want to come play with me?"

Mittens meowed again.

The little girl picked up Mittens and carried her inside. Mittens was so happy to have a new friend. She played with the little girl all day long, and she finally forgot about being lost and alone.

The little girl's name was Emily, and she and Mittens became best friends. Emily's parents let Mittens stay with them, and Mittens was so happy to have a new home. She had a loving family, and she was never lonely again.

One day, Emily's parents took her to the park. Mittens went with them, and she had a great time playing with Emily and her friends. After a while, Emily's parents sat down on a bench, and Emily and her friends ran off to play. Mittens sat down next to Emily's parents, and she purred.

Emily's parents looked at Mittens and smiled. "She's such a sweet cat," Emily's mother said. "I'm so glad we found her."

Emily's father nodded. "Me too," he said. "She's a part of our family now."

Mittens was so happy to be a part of Emily's family. She loved her new home, and she loved her new friends. She was never lonely again, and she lived happily ever after.
