Polish national team eventing rider Mateusz Pabijanek joins Ditte Young on The Animal’s Voice with his elite horse, Upsi.

Mateusz has big ambitions for Upsi, but one challenge remains: he doesn’t always understand his horse’s behavior.

At times, Upsi stops and refuses to go forward. He may try to leave the arena, refuse to load into the trailer, or even rear when he feels too much pressure. Yet according to Mateusz, there seems to be no consistent pattern to when or why it happens.
