• Hamtramck Flag Ban Rally

    The Story Of... presents voices from the rally at Winfield Park outside of the Hamtramck City Hall in response to the passing of resolution 2023-82 which pointedly banned the pride flag from being flown on city property during pride month. These are just a few voices of the residents of Hamtramck, members of the LGBTQ community and their allies, local civil rights organizers, musicians, and concerned citizens of nearby municipalities.

  • Stand for Solidarity in Boston

    The Story Of... presents voices from the Stand for Solidarity in Boston, Massachusetts. One week after the tragic events in Charlottesville on August 12th, 2017 the Boston government granted permits to KKK and Neo-Nazi affiliated groups to hold a so-called "Free Speech" rally. In rapid response, a handful of organizers created a counter rally, the "Stand for Solidarity." The counter protesters present in the Boston Commons were estimated at around 40,000 people. These are just a few voices of prison rights activists, immigration rights activists, political performance artists, first-time protestors, and an wide array of Bostonians who were present.
