Laura Grier - Founder, Andeana Hats - Start Up Spotlight

Laura Grier known as the “Indiana Jones of Adventure Travel Photography” was named on Discovery Channel UK’s “20 Richest People in the World List”; people who are rich in life experiences. Living overseas and working for the CIA by age 18, began what would become a lifelong wanderlust for Laura. Recently, Laura co-founded Andeana Hats with Pats Krysiak, which is a sustainable fashion brand that works directly with Quechua artisans in Peru making handmade and naturally dyed alpaca wool hats and woven bands. The mission behind Andeana is to empower women and help global artisans continue their cultural traditions; enabling them to support themselves and lead their communities out of poverty.
