This week your favorite trio of podcasters are continuing on the path of spooky things when we all, except Adam (who, as always, didn't know the assignment so he didn't do it) watched the new TV show "Carrie". That being said, Adam has read the book AND seen the OG movie from waaaaaaay back when John Travolta had a full head of hair and the height of horror was pouring a bucket of pig's blood on someones head (spoilers!). We LOVE Stephen King stuff. Matt has read all 1k+ pages of the unabridged version of "The Stand", as has Adam. This wouldn't be considered an accomplishment for Taters as she's an avid reader but for the other two jabronis? That's impressive. That being said, strap in for one more trip down horror lane as we spend what is essentially the last fun week in October talking about our love of the KING of Horror, Mr. Stephen King. For real people, how did we become the OLD PEOPLE?! Yes, we are all aware that our podcast is based on nostalgia, we get that but reading that Pearl Jam's "10" album is 35 FORKING YEARS OLD IS JUST TOO MUCH!!! That album is currently no longer partying, it's thinking that staying up past 10 is way too late and gets excited at the idea of buy a new pair of New Balance because Nikes really hurt it's feet. COME ON. So that's what this episode is about. This week we dive into (ugh) Classic Rock, or what's now officially considered classic rock. This hurts our collective hurts. The tripod is okay with getting old until we realize things we rocked out to, things that feel like they were yesterday were 35 YEARS AGO. It's amazing when you think about where we came from to where we are now, running around like a drunk toddler, banging into things, making mistakes but laughing the whole way. We've learned so much in our first year but the most important lesson to consider is if you're going to do something like this, do it for you. Do it for the people you're recording with. Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends! We are BACK and this week we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Pokemon Go! Naturally one of us (Matt) took the assignment seriously and the other one (Adam) presented ideas for Pokemon you can eat. Taters then followed Adam down the dark path he started. Mind you, Matt isn't a better person because he too would not only happily eat Pokemon but he found the appropriate cookbook! The only Pokemon we can't dine on is Squirtle because Taters has a deep familial connection to turtles (message received, all turtle-based Pokemon are off the table. Literally!). All this and we finally find a spot where Adam is DEFINITELY not confident and more on this week's edition of "FUELED BY NOSTALGIA!!!"

The title of the episode has absolute nothing to do with the actual episode but we LOVE a good pun. This week we talk about summers past, Taters delves into more of her life on the island growing up, Adam talks about having his toe mutilated in a fairly polluted NJ creek while trying to perform a rescue operation on a turtle and Matt throws out recommendations on his new favorite band!
