Of Course, I’m Going to Be Devoted to Myself | Episode 39
⚠️ **TRIGGER WARNING:** This conversation contains strong language and raw discussion around self-abandonment, devotion, courage, identity, relationships, body image, conditioning, people-pleasing, and taking up space.
This is not a conversation about becoming a better version of yourself so you can finally earn the life you want.
This is about realizing **you are the fucking reason your life looks the way it does.**
Karen and I get into one of the biggest realizations to come out of my retreat: I’ve been celebrating my life backwards.
For years I’ve said, “I fucking love my life.”
But what if the life isn’t the miracle?
**What if I am?**
The woman who chose the love.
The relationship.
The business.
The friendships.
The body.
The woman who kept choosing herself.
And suddenly I realized I could stop saying, “I love my life,” and start saying:
**Diamond, I fucking love you.**
We get into what devotion actually means—and why it has nothing to do with simply wanting something.
Devotion is rearranging your choices because you said you fucking wanted it. It’s showing up when nobody’s watching, keeping the boundary after the empowerment wears off, and choosing yourself before life hands you the evidence.
Because you’re devoted either way.
You’re devoted to the old story—or you’re devoted to the version of you you desire to become.
**So choose your fucking devotion.**
Welcome to Permission Slip.
Come sit with the sisters. It gets fucking spicy.
